Home of the Blod noise, industrial, electronic, and experimental holiday tribute compilation.

Blod's newest project is a holiday tribute, tentatively titled "Not Yet Titled," and it's penned for a mid-December release in this fine year of 2003.  It's going to be a holiday compilation.  Here's the deal.  The tracks will be of the industrial, power noise, noise, electronic, and hardcore techno genres.  Powerful stuff.  Each track will be a version of a holiday tune or carol.  Contributors can donate an industrial remix of "Silent Night", a noise deconstruction of "The Dreidel Song," an electronic remake of "Joy To The World"... whatever.  The goal is to collect a full length compilation of holiday cheer, grinded up and disintegrated into completely different sounds.

If you want to be on the comp [and who wouldn't?], first e-mail me to confirm which holiday tune you're doing (holidays of all religions are fine, so long as they occur in December)... this is to prevent two people from doing the same one.  Then create your piece, transfer it to cassette, cdr, or microcassette, and mail it to me!  The deadline for tracks is the end of November.  I have to stress this, as the release date is mid-December!  Crikey!

Rules: All tracks must be versions of songs for holidays that occur in December [New Year tunes are also fine].  Holidays can be any religion, and the song can be in any language.  Each track must be four minutes or less.  Eventually [mid-December 2003] the comp will be released on cdr, hand-packaged uniquely, each copy coming hand-numbered.  Questions?  Ask!
